Moving Forward in 2014
John 5:7-8: ..."Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him, 'Rise, take up your bed and walk." 2014 is a year that was anticipated and here we are. The question now is what next? What is to be achieved? What goals are you setting to accomplish? What mission statement to fulfil? What dreams to make reality? What visions are you targetting? The man at the pool of Bethseda was at the point of stagnation for 38 years, he never imagined himself getting out because of the series of failures he had passed through, he was looking up to people to help him accomplish his goals which never happened as it was a promise and fail agenda. So his efforts never realised anything worthwhile, his goals were never accomplished, his dreams thwarted and his visions foiled. Ever wondered why the water need to be stirred before the healing?
